Some news? well... there are some new tracks finished and i'm in the middle of something new and cool which might surprise you ;-)
Combining the groove with industrial techno, Peaky Pounder’s ‘Nervo’ hits the speakers with an international twist! Merging 4 tracks into one orange packaged piece of music, this release again proves why there’s only one Peaky Pounder. With rugged kicks and nervous sets of percussion, tracks like ‘Miekan’ will surely fill your funk needs. Special notice for ‘Digital crack’, a co-production with New York resident Lenny Dee! Presenting a dark mixture of both artists their skills, the result is quite refreshing! The two tracks on the flip-side explore a different tune. ‘Nervo’ combines the dirty Peaky sound with vocals by Dan Physics, while the track ‘Nopea’ takes on a break-beat angle, including soothing breakdown!

Today, the 15th of April Meneer Noury showed of his Kurkuu tattoo to the world!
Makebelieve/Noury is besides one of the biggest peaky and TTM fans also the proud owner of one of the few handmade and very exclusive clay teckels by Nussie. This Kurkuu Tattoo can be seen at a party near you, just watch out for the tall guy with the friendly face and Kurkuu Tattoo.
On friday the 11th of April the ‘Oude Zaal’ of the Melkweg, Amsterdam will centre around the American DJ whose awesome lifestyle has claimed many musical victims! The Third Movement and Industrial Strength present: Dee-Day. Lenny Dee. 40 years of life!
Feasting together with some of his closest friends, on April 11th the bomb is getting dropped! Joining the Dee-Day celebration are: Manu Le Malin, Akira, Buzz Fuzz, Peaky Pounder, Jappo (a.k.a. Unexist), Promo and Obsession. Not the most obvious of combinations, and just the better! Offcourse Lenny Dee himself will drop lots of tunes during the night and join in on the action wherever possible. What to expect from Dee-Day? ISR classics, hardcore mash & bash sets from Lenny Dee’s friends, and of course pure non stop party action!

Come on, what you waiting for? The new Peaky Pounder release is here! ‘Positiivista’ crashes through soundsystems like a rusty old car. With pure party attitude mixed along Peaky funkyness! Side A speeds on the Hoitaa side of things; a catchy track in all ways imaginable which Peaky has been playing from disc for some time now. You know the score; absolute dancefloor mayhem! Hoitaa is available in original and r_AW perkele mix! Rude Awakening needs no introduction and his remix of the Peaky original delivers even heavier kicks as well as stacked layers of chaos. Flipping the disc produces ‘Hitto!’ and ‘Positiivista’. Two tracks both offering a great drive; Peaky style! The first track combines low frequency acid sounds with a wideload of distortion and funk. Definitely not your everyday type of acid! Positiivista closes the EP with a heavy crawling line of kicks and distortion reaching anarchy near the end of the track. A great bridge between techno and hardcore!

The festival season is about to take off! This summer you can check out Peaky at 4 different festivals in Holland and beyond. First of is Dominator, next up is Decibel outdoor followed by Mysteryland with our own r_AW area and last but not least make shure you'll drop by at Q-base! This summer will be pounding!

April 2004, the 23rd to be exact. Several hundred people attended the P60 in Amstelveen to experience the first edition of Club r_AW. What followed was a night packed with fresh music. From hard techno to raw hardcore music, the diverse and enthusiastic audience created an unique atmosphere. Eight more editions followed, each with their own interpretation of the concept but all undeniable r_AW. More than two years have passed and now it's time for an anniversary; saturday the 10th of June the 10th edition of Club r_AW will be a fact!A jubileum asks for a special edition with the spotlight focussed on somebody special. For this 10th Club r_AW there's only one person from the Club r_AW history books who earned such a personal edition with flair.
